CNC Operators

Cigas Machine Shop, Inc is a Stainless Steel manufacturer that has immediate openings for CNC Operators for our 1st & 3rd shifts. If you are looking to launch a career that blends technology and precision, join our team as a CNC Operator. If you are building onto your existing career or seeking a new opportunity in a growing manufacturing industry that provides hands on training and opportunity for growth.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    Preferred Skills:

    • Candidates should have one year min of CNC experience (or related field)

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

    • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and a micrometer

    • Ability to convert fractions to decimals, add and subtract in fractions and decimals

    • Must have knowledge of overhead crane & forklift operation

    Essential Duties:

    • Operation of CNC

    • Loading and unloading table

    • Daily routine checkups on machine

    • Checking programs for proper dimensions against blueprints

    • Maintaining inventory for traceability

    • Ability to follow instructions, solve problems and work independently
